Riding the Tides Exhibition is a fully interactive experience that brings Singapore’s coastal protection strategies to life.
Hosted at VivoCity, the exhibition invited visitors to explore how Singapore defends its shores against rising sea levels through engaging digital storytelling, animated visuals, and hands-on activities.
Each interactive booth showcased PUB’s approaches from adaptive and integrated planning to sustainable land reclamation and stormwater management. This interactive experience turn complex climate resilience strategies into fun, digestible learning experiences for all ages.
Creative & Technical Highlights
Multi-station setups allowed visitors to discover various coastal protection measures such as pumping stations, dykes, reefs, and hybrid mangrove solutions.
Interactive mini-games encouraged users to “build defences” and “save the city from flooding,” rewarding them with visual progress and celebratory animations.
Vibrant isometric illustrations and layered infographics simplified technical information into intuitive, interactive visuals.
Developed specifically for public exhibition use, integrating smooth navigation and multimedia content.
Visitors could explore different approaches like “Reducing Wave Energy,” “Protection Against Coastal Floods,” and “Stormwater Management Solutions” through guided digital storytelling.
