There is a huge umbrella of shopping malls under the management of AsiaMalls, such as Liang Court and Tampines 1, and Amperkz is their shoppers’ rewards programme. This Christmas, the Trinax team designed and built an interactive surprise photo booth that enabled customers to play games and get rewarded with prizes. Shoppers would be given gifts like vouchers and a chance to participate in a lucky draw.

What is the Experience?

Shoppers browsing at affiliated malls were presented with a pleasant surprise in the form of a Christmas Photo Booth. Combining the best of both worlds to create a fun-filled experience with a physical piece of memory, shoppers participated in a series of simple games within the confines of the booth and had their photos printed out as a souvenir of the event. Prizes such as vouchers and a shot at a lucky draw were also given out to foster the spirit of giving during this iconic event.

What is the Objective?

Shoppers are invited to participate in simplified Christmas games under the guidance of an assistant behind-the-scenes. An interactive screen relays instructions and allows players to choose answers/options, taking a commemorative photo at the end to conclude this memorable activity.

How Does It Work?

In a cycling projection dome, participants can cycle on real bicycles that have been secured to the ground. A curved LED screen equipped with motion sensors plays a short video that participants can enjoy as part of the experience. A separate interactive kiosk with push buttons that play different videos can also be installed separately to accommodate or complement an audience.
