What is the Experience?
The Mount Elizabeth Hospital AR Experience is a self-guided, interactive journey through the hospital that uses augmented reality (AR) to bring historical artefacts and symbols to life.
Through the use of a mobile phone, visitors can scan a main QR code to launch the AR web experience. Within the app, users are advised that there are 10 artefacts located throughout the hospital, each with a QR code that reveals a story.
As visitors move through the hospital, they locate artefacts like the Guan Gong Mural, hospital opening plaque, or painted vases. After viewing animations and videos, users can access extra reading material or quizzes.
Through this experience, visitors leave with a deeper understanding of the hospital’s heritage and cultural richness, having experienced a unique blend of history and modern AR technology.

Additional content such as quizzes, reading materials, or symbolic breakdowns appear after the videos.
