The Korea Travel Fest delivers a seamless, engaging, and personalized journey that combines digital interaction, cultural discovery, and physical takeaway.
Through a series of interactive touch-points, users can discover their k-food and travel personality. By scanning the QR, this launches an interactive web quiz interface in their browser. Users will answer 20 MBTI-style questions, and take another quiz focused on taste preferences, food choices, and personality cues linked to Korean dishes.
This gamified experience blends mobile interactivity with physical rewards — allowing users to uncover their K-personality and walk away with a fun keepsake while learning about Korea’s rich culinary and travel offerings.
To promote Korean tourism and culture in an engaging and personalized way, using interactive technology and gamification to deepen audience connection and interest.
The experience is powered by a digital-physical system that combines web-based quizzes with touchscreen kiosks and on-the-spot printing.
Users begin by scanning a QR code displayed on banners or kiosks. This links them to a mobile-optimized quiz platform hosted online where they will participate in two separate quizzes.
After completing the quiz, users approach a touchscreen kiosk where they can enter their quiz username to retrieve their result. A built-in camera will prompt them to pose for a photo. They can also interact directly with the kiosk to get their result and voucher.
