RFID TABLE

Manulife

Launched in 2019

Discover more about insurance through an interactive smart table. The table consists of a unique touchscreen, where objects can be placed on it to generate details about Manulife’s extensive list of products. Amaze your customers with RFID technology!

What is the Experience?

3D printed objects surround the RFID Smart Table. When curious on-lookers spot the peculiar items, the table’s idle screen will prompt them to pick up and scan an object of their choice. Rows of insurance categories will then appear, related to the scanned object, and users may proceed to learn about the numerous policies on offer.

The object being scanned can be swapped with another object to view other insurance categories, enabling a dynamic and fluid browsing process.

What is the Objective?

To facilitate product awareness by implementing a digital smart table, in combination with lifelike objects, to convey a more realistic experience.

How Does It Work?

All 3D printed objects are fitted with RFID tags to communicate with the touchscreen – installed horizontally to act as a smart table. Placing the 3D objects at the designated area will trigger the RFID reader in the touchscreen. 4 policy categories will be displayed around the scanned object, which can be tapped to uncover details about specific insurance plans.

A lead form will generate after looking through a policy, encouraging them to fill in personal information and to be contacted by a financial consultant.
