Launched in 2020

Understand what goes through the minds of persons with mental disabilities in this exciting puzzle solving e-Escape Room adventure.

What is the Experience?

Enter a surreal digital realm where players role-play as characters with mental disabilities such as depression and schizophrenia to gain a profound understanding of how the disease affects those around us.

Players explore 360-degree 3D environments with clues and hints spread across this exclusively online e-Escape Room. Finding clues will help them solve Interactive puzzles that require users to think from the character’s perspective; What would someone with this mental disorder do in this situation?

The e-Escape room experience gives our clients a fun but realistic Virtual Platform centred around understanding mental disabilities, granting the public an online communications channel for people to discover if these same mental disorders may be plaguing their friends and loved ones, educating them on the appropriate actions to take afterward.

What is the Objective?

To educate the public on the misunderstood topic of mental disorders through a highly interactive and fascinating e-Escape Room journey, putting players into the shoes of the mentally disabled but also creating a fun and challenging experience.

How Does It Work?

The e-Escape Room experience starts with a prelude animation video curated in-house to give an introduction to the character living with the mental disorder. With an understanding of their background, the player begins to roleplay the character as we place them in an environment uniquely created to uncover what life is like for these individuals.

Players will explore the 360-degree environment, click on places-of-interest to zoom into specific areas to find objects and hints that assist the users in solving various interactive puzzles. From intricate arrangement tasks for OCD to sliding puzzle pieces for schizophrenic individuals, these puzzles are purposefully implemented to give insight on what a person suffering from mental disability experiences.

Each episode ends with a peer support section, asking players to instead roleplay as a loved one of the character with mental disorder and have a heartfelt conversation by picking from a range of 3 possible answers as the character talks about his mental health – allowing players to do the same for their real-life friends and family when they need a helping hand.
