Launched in 2019
In a bid to give residents a complimentary train ride and garner exposure for the brand, the Prudential Do Squat Challenge makes its coveted return – with enhanced mechanics!
What is the Experience?
Upgraded from its previous installation, on-lookers and commuters alike can benefit from this exhilarating challenge that incorporates a physical element. The current challenge allows 2 people to stand ready and perform squats within a stipulated time. If a set number of squats are completed within the time limit, they are rewarded with a ticket that grants a train ride, free of charge.
To promote an active lifestyle among citizens through appealing incentives and gain brand recognition among commuters in the midst of Singapore’s busiest stations of travel.
At the tap on the touchscreen, a pair of interactive kiosks will start calibrating the 2 users directly in front of them. Through in-built motion sensors, the players’ movement will be tracked and the squat challenge will proceed. Every complete squat awards a point. If the sensors detect an incomplete squat, a point will not be awarded. Once the timer reaches 0, their scores will be totaled and a ticket that contains a free train ride will be given if 40 full squats were recorded.
