Participants from around the country gather in this multiplayer tournament revolving around an intense memory game. The entire exhibition is decorated with brand decals, resulting in a magnificent marketing campaign for Manulife.
What is the Experience?
An esports styled tournament is the main attraction for Manulife’s Vault Game at Changi Jewel. Contestants will be pitted against each other in a 1-on-1 battle and will play a memory based game in hopes of winning a $250,000 retirement plan.
Large screens will be featured on an elevated stage to attract the attention of passers-by and add grandeur to the event.
To organise a gamified tournament, reminiscent of esports events, that will attract millennials and enthusiastic adults to enquiry about Manulife and their expansive range of policies.
Using 2 identical LED touchscreens to ensure fairness, a multiplayer battle arena is created with 32 participants in a single elimination style tournament.
The game starts with a 4×3 grid game board to facilitate this memory game. Grid squares will light up in sequence and the player is tasked to memorise and tap the squares in that same sequence. To win, players will have to replicate the sequence faster than their opponent, thus allowing progression through the tournament.
