Interactive Disco Room

Set against the backdrop of Singapore’s colonial past and its post-independence, the Now Boarding exhibition is an educational and tasteful visual exploration of Destination Singapore.

Visitors can expect four different thematic sections have been curated to the themes of transport, accommodation, food and beverage, sights and shopping. The exhibition also includes ubiquitous materials and artefacts that evoke fond memories of travel to and from Singapore.

As you make their way through the exhibition, you will get to explore pop-up rooms and audio trails, including a retro-themed disco room. This fun and nostalgic experience allows visitors to put their dancing skills to the test as they follow a guided dancer on the screen. You will also be able to choose from an array of songs and choreography that you fancy.

Upon completion, each unique dance will be recorded and sent to the user’s Heritage ID app. Head down to National Museum of Singapore and flaunt your disco moves now!
