As part of SGX’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, a booth was created and filled with an assortment of sports related games. This includes a futsal practice activity, marathon running test and a mix and match puzzle game.
A photobooth with a customised frame was also featured for users to commemorate their participation in the event. Participants could donate money through the booth as well, with the proceeds going to charity.
The kiosk injected a modern twist into SGX’s Bull Charge festival and encouraged event participation from both SGX employees and the public.
What is the Experience?
Times of glee were had among SGX’s interactive game and photo booth kiosk. Equipped with games that require physical exertion and good memory, employees at SGX could unwind after a rigorous day of work by engaging in any of these games. Augmented Reality (AR) technology was utilised for these games with the help of a motion detecting camera.
A photo taking function gave users an avenue to remember this moment with the interactive kiosk. In conjunction with SGX’s CSR endeavours, users could also donate to charity through wireless payment that the machine also offered.
To supplement SGX’s annual CSR event, Bull Charge, with enjoyable and interactive activities that alleviates mental stress received from mundane routines of work.
A marathon running game will test the user’s stamina as they run on the spot; the futsal challenge will involve soccer balls approaching the user on-screen, where players can maneuver a pair of digital hands on the screen using their own hands to block the incoming soccer balls. These games are controlled using body motion, and detected with a motion sensing camera with AR capabilities.
