What is the Experience?
This motion game gets people active as they journey across a 3D model of Singapore’s landscape. When players run on the spot, the avatar on-screen runs to match their pace. Obstacles lie ahead, requiring players to dodge them through left and right movements and jumps.
As part of the event, Manulife’s Motion Game pays visits to many areas in Singapore. To inform the public about its next location, an email is sent out with a link to a microsite where players can register to participate and be given a QR code. Once participants arrive at the designated area, the QR code can be scanned to enable users to play this exhilarating endless runner.

Using 3D cameras to track full body movements, the game keeps the players moving through a Singapore-themed digital environment for as long as possible by dodging, squatting and jumping away from various obstacles. It also encourages players to compete with others through a real-time, online leaderboard, which tracks each of their performances. Informative and infographic-driven, the board also provides players with further insights into the game experience.
