What is the Experience?
The Celebrating SG Women Exhibition will take visitors on a collective journey from the past, to the present and future in tracking Singapore’s progress towards a fairer and more inclusive society through a series of interactive installations.
Visitors were able to experience immersive AR animations on various touch points around the exhibition by scanning portraits of our pioneers and current leaders via the Celebrating SG Women’s mircrosite. Visitors could also scan the QR codes in the “Progress of Pioneer” and “Shaper of Success” sections to watch video recordings and documentations of the White Paper on Singapore Women’s Development.
Digital smart mirrors in the “Trailblazer of Tomorrow” section showcase inspiring and empowering quotes from members of the society. As visitors approach the mirror, there would be meaningful quotes that would appear on the mirror itself, giving them a moment for self-reflection and empowering their confidence for the cause.
Visitors played their part in an inspiring animated social wall to show their support. Visitors could take a boomerang photo with the photo booth and customise it with their own messages. The animated photo would then be displayed on the social wall to inspire more people!
Visitors are eligible to receive an exclusive NETS FLASHPAY card if they complete the quiz at the Smart Dispenser which is the final section of the entire exhibition.
This hybrid exhibition showcases Singapore’s progress towards a fairer and more inclusive society, where men and women partner each other as equals through a series of immersive and interactive multimedia experiences.
